Launched in 2011 in the Paris region, Creative Valley was created with the aim of boosting the potential of areas enriched by the presence of prestigious academic institutions and major companies.
Within the Creative Valley "galaxy", a community of start-ups and entrepreneurs, Creative Cluster is responsible for implementing new acceleration programmes and designing new innovation centres in France and abroad. Creative Holding's mission is to legally invest in and structure new projects within the European start-up ecosystem.

The French Tech Mission, the public institution responsible for supporting the development of French startups, was established in 2013 to catalyse government support for the French technology ecosystem.
Since 2017, the ecosystem has experienced extraordinary growth, ranking among the most dynamic in the world in 2021, according to the World Intellectual Property Organisation. In 2023, French technology companies raised €8.3 billion, ranking first in the European Union, according to the report by EY.
